Caise Xiaozhuo (七彩小箬村) – colorful village by the sea
Caise Xiaozhuo is a small fishing village that has turned into a real art object. The locals painted their houses in all colors of the rainbow, creating an amazingly photogenic labyrinth of pastel houses descending to the sea. This place is often called "Chinese Positano".
In one day we will walk through the colorful streets, climb Qilin Mountain to see the village from above and watch the sunset, visit the neighboring ancient village of Lizhuo with its museum, and taste the freshest seafood. Ideal for photo shoots and romantic getaways.

- Early morning departure from Shanghai – meeting at Hongqiao station, boarding a high‑speed train to Wenling (≈3 hours).
- Arrival in Wenling – transfer to a bus to Shitang (≈1 hour) and a local taxi to the village (≈15 minutes).
- Lunch at a local restaurant – taste the famous seafood noodles and fresh mussels.
- Walk through the colorful village – explore the labyrinth of alleys, find the best photo spots, enjoy sea views.
- Climb Qilin Mountain – about 15‑20 minutes to see the whole palette of the village from above and wait for sunset.
- Sunset – a magical time when the sun paints the houses in golden tones.
- Visit to Lizhuo Village and Chen Helun Manor – get to know the history of the fishing region.
- Dinner and return to the station – evening train to Shanghai, arrival around 23:00.

- Train tickets must be purchased 2‑3 days in advance, especially on weekends and holidays.
- Comfortable shoes are a must – many stairs and cobblestones.
