How to get to Dongjidao from Shanghai?

First by bus from Nanpu Bridge station to Shenjiawan port (1.5–2 hours), then by ferry to Miaozihu Island (about 2 hours). Tickets must be purchased in advance. Car rental with driver to the port is also available.

When is the best time to go?

From May to October – warm weather and high probability of seeing 'Blue Tears'. In July–August, the sea is warm for swimming.

Q: How many days does the tour take?

We offer both two-day and three-day tours. Two days are enough to get acquainted with Miaozihu and Dongfushan. Three days will allow you to also visit Qingbang Island.

Q: Is it difficult to walk around the islands?

There are inclines and stone stairs, but the routes are accessible to tourists of any fitness level. Comfortable shoes are a must.
