Hengdian (横店影视城) – Chinese Hollywood

Hengdian World Studios (横店影视城) is Asia's largest film studio, often called "Chinese Hollywood". Covering more than 3,000 hectares, it recreates historical eras from Qin to the Republic of China. Thousands of films and dramas have been shot here, including "Hero", "The Last Emperor", "Kill Bill" and many others. You can walk through imperial palaces, ancient streets and even participate as an extra.

What awaits you: a two‑day trip from Shanghai. We will visit the main pavilions: Ming and Qing palaces (a replica of the Forbidden City), Qin Palace (the set of "Hero"), the Riverside Scene at Qingming Festival Park (a Song dynasty city) and old Guangzhou‑Hong Kong streets. In the evening, we will see a grandiose water show. Overnight in a cozy hotel near the studio.
