Jianglang Mountain (江郎山) – mountain with three stone peaks
Jianglang Mountain (literally "Mountain of the Jiang family") is a scenic area in Zhejiang Province famous for its three vertical stone peaks: Lang, Ya and Xu. In 2010 the site was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List as part of the "Danxia" landform – a unique red sandstone formation. It is an ideal place for outdoor enthusiasts, photographers and those who want to touch ancient Chinese culture.
In one day we will ascend to the viewing platforms of the three peaks, visit the Jianglang Temple, walk across suspension bridges and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding green hills. The route is adapted for different levels of fitness.

- Early departure from Shanghai – meeting at Hongqiao station, boarding a high-speed train to Jiangshan station (≈2 hours).
- Arrival at Jiangshan station – taxi transfer to the entrance of the scenic area (≈30–40 minutes).
- Walk along the three-peaks route – ascent to the viewing platforms of Lang, Ya and Xu peaks, visit Jianglang Temple, suspension bridges.
- Ascent to the highest point – Lang Peak – panoramic view of the surrounding hills and valleys (you can climb on foot via stairs).
- Lunch at a restaurant at the foot – tasting local Zhejiang cuisine (we recommend trying braised fish and bamboo shoots).
- Visit the ancient Jianglang Temple – learn about Tang dynasty history and the legends of the mountain.
- Free time at the viewing platforms – photos, relaxation, walk along the ecological trails.
- Return to the station and trip back to Shanghai – evening train, arrival around 22:00.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHow long does it take to climb the peaks?
The main route takes about 3–4 hours including stops at viewing platforms and temples. There are both gentle trails and steeper sections with stairs.
What transport is used?
In the basic option – train + taxi. In the "By car" option – a comfortable sedan with a driver (guide) for the whole day. Inside the park we move on foot.
Is it difficult to climb Lang Peak?
Lang Peak is reached by a staircase of about 1100 steps. The ascent takes 40–60 minutes depending on pace. There are rest areas. For those who prefer not to climb, there are alternative walks at the foot.
What to do in bad weather?
In rain the trails can be slippery; climbing the peaks is not recommended. In such cases we will reschedule the date or offer an alternative program in Jiangshan city.
Can I rent a car with a driver?
Yes, that is the "By car" option – a sedan for 1–3 people. The price is indicated in the "Price and conditions" section.
