Liangxi Forest Park (梁希森林公园)
Picturesque forest park at the foot of the Moganshan mountains (Zhejiang province). Named after the outstanding Chinese forester Liang Xi. The park is famous for its bamboo groves, centuries‑old pines, clear streams and scenic waterfalls. A wonderful place for easy trekking and outdoor relaxation.
Important: The park's trails are well‑maintained, suitable for families with children. Comfortable hiking shoes, a raincoat and a supply of water are recommended. After rain, sections may be slippery.
Liangxi Forest Park: a walk in bamboo paradise
Liangxi Forest Park (Liangxi Forest Park) is an oasis of tranquillity in Zhejiang province, just 2.5 hours drive from Shanghai. The park is named after the pioneer of Chinese forestry, Liang Xi (1883–1958). Comfortable eco‑trails have been laid here, leading through bamboo forests, past waterfalls and to viewing platforms.
Tour program: walking the main eco‑trail (9 km, 350 m elevation gain), visiting Liangxi Waterfall, climbing the Pine Wind Observation Tower with a view of Lake Taihu. The route is easy, suitable for families with children and beginner hikers.
