The name "Ma Ling Tian Guan" translates as "Heavenly View at Ma Pass". Legend has it that a monk once stopped here, found a Buddha's handprint in the rocks, and founded a temple. The modern sculpture of the hand pays tribute to this legend.
- Car: From Shanghai via G60 to Hangzhou, then G25 to Jiande, then local roads. GPS coordinates: 29.6095° N, 119.2842° E.
- Train + taxi: From Hongqiao station to Jiande station (approx. 1.5 h), then taxi about 1 h to the entrance.
- Parking: Paid parking at the park (20¥/day).
- Opening hours: 08:30–16:30 (last entry 16:00).
- Tickets: basic – 98¥, basic + 5 attractions – 188¥, expanded – 338¥, full – 388¥.
- Attractions: "Flying Magic Carpet", glass bridge, rafting, toboggan, Via Ferrata – included in packages.
- Buddha's Hand Bridge: the most photographed object, best shot from the lower observation deck.
