Shepan Island – "Island of a Thousand Caves"
Shepan Island (蛇蟠岛) is a unique place in Zhejiang province, known as the "Island of a Thousand Caves". More than 1300 ancient artificial stone caves, created over hundreds of years of building stone mining, form a genuine underground labyrinth. On our tour from Shanghai, you will explore the mysterious grottoes of the "Savage Cave" and the "Pirate Village", enjoy views of the endless sea fish farms and taste the famous local seafood.
