Simingshan: Dragon's Teeth Ridge

Simingshan National Forest Park (四明山国家森林公园) is one of the most scenic places near Ningbo. The mountains are 96% covered by dense forests, with numerous waterfalls, springs and ancient temples. The main gem is the 'Dragon's Teeth' ridge (915 m) with sharp rocky crests where chains have been installed for safety. The panoramas from the summit will make your heart beat faster.

A one‑day expedition for active travellers: trekking to the 'Dragon's Teeth' (12 km, 600 m elevation gain), visit to Baishuichong Waterfall and the ancient Siming Temple. The route is of moderate difficulty, requiring good physical condition and no fear of heights. An ideal way to spend a weekend breathing deeply away from the metropolis.
