Wuxi Film Studio – where history comes alive
Wuxi Film Studio (无锡影视基地) is China’s largest film park, located on the scenic shores of Taihu Lake. Legendary series such as "Three Kingdoms", "Water Margin" and many other historical films were shot here. Over an area of more than 100 hectares, architectural ensembles from different eras have been recreated: from Han Dynasty palaces to the bustling streets of the Song era. This is a unique opportunity not only to see the sets but also to become part of the movie atmosphere.

What awaits you at Wuxi Film Studio
- Morning departure from Shanghai — meet at Xinzhuang metro station or Hongqiao station. Transfer ~2-2.5 hours.
- Visit to the "Three Kingdoms" zone (三国城) — the main set where the famous series was filmed. See the imperial palace, military camp and a viewing platform overlooking Taihu Lake.
- Grand water show — reenactment of the Battle of Red Cliffs with real ships, pyrotechnics and stunts.
- "Water Margin" city (水浒城) — walk along Song‑era streets, visit taverns, courtrooms and a theater square. Meet actors in historical costumes.
- Lunch in a traditional restaurant — Wuxi cuisine (freshwater fish, tofu, vegetables).
- Tang Dynasty zone (唐城) — elegant architecture, temple buildings and a park with pagodas. Photo session in ancient interiors.
- Calligraphy or traditional craft masterclass (optional).
