Xianqiaodong Park – light, caves and extreme
Xianqiaodong Park (仙桥洞) is a unique place near Hangzhou where ancient karst caves meet modern attractions. The main natural highlight is the Tyndall effect: sunlight piercing through openings in the rocks creates magical light pillars. And for adrenaline lovers – a 990‑meter glass slide “Xianqiao Hangpiao” and a giant net over a 68‑meter depression.
What awaits you in Xianqiaodong Park
- Karst cave. You will explore a unique natural cave with stalactites and stalagmites that stays cool even in hot weather.
- Tyndall effect. From 11:30 to 15:00 on sunny days, sunlight creates magical light pillars – perfect for photos.
- “Xianqiao Hangpiao” ride. A 990‑meter glass slide with an 80 m elevation drop. You will rush over bamboo groves on a special boat.
- “Tiankeng Mowan” – net over the karst sinkhole. A huge multi‑level net 280 m long stretched over the abyss. Called “Asia’s number one net”.
- “Conglin Chuanyue” – jungle crossing. A rope park with suspension bridges and ladders at different heights.
- Renovated landscape design. Over 20 species of flowers and plants, including hydrangeas – beautiful photo zones.
- Cave café. A cosy place right inside the cave where you can have coffee in an unusual atmosphere.
