Yandangshan is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of the most picturesque places in Eastern China. What to expect in one day
- Early departure from Shanghai (≈05:30). Comfortable minivan transfer. The drive to Yandangshan takes 4–4.5 hours.
- Dalongqiu Waterfall (first thing). The highest waterfall in China (197 m). On clear days, a rainbow is visible at the foot. We visit it first to avoid crowds.
- Lunch at a local restaurant (13:00–13:30). Sichuan and Zhejiang cuisine (paid separately).
- Lingyan area – the heart of the mountains. Lingyansi Temple, Heavenly Column (260 m) and Unfurled Banner peaks.
- "Flying over the Abyss" show (14:00). Acrobats perform stunts at height between the rocks – a unique spectacle.
- Lingfeng area (optional). Fantastic rocks resembling animals and people (if time permits).
- Return to Shanghai. Departure around 16:30, arrival ≈21:30.
