Zhuge Bagua (诸葛八卦村) – Village of the Eight Trigrams

Zhuge Bagua Village (诸葛八卦村) is a unique architectural and historical monument located in Zhejiang Province. The village was founded by descendants of the famous Three Kingdoms strategist Zhuge Liang (诸葛亮) and built according to the principles of the Eight Trigrams (bagua) and feng shui. Its streets form a real labyrinth: even locals sometimes get lost in the alleys. At the center of the village lies Zhongchi Pond (钟池) in the shape of yin-yang — the heart of the entire composition.

What awaits you: a walk through the labyrinth of ancient streets, visit to the Zhuge Liang Memorial Hall (丞相祠堂), Dagongtang House Museum (大公堂), discovery of Ming and Qing dynasty traditional architecture, and study of the feng shui principles by which the ancestors lived.
